Mattie Kelly Arts Center adds January 17 matinee to "Teddy Roosevelt and the Treasure of Ursa Major"
The Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audience’s national tour of “Teddy Roosevelt and the Treasure of Ursa Major” will appear at the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center at Okaloosa-Walton College on Thursday, January 17, 2008 for two performances at 9:00 am and 11:30 am.  

 

Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra presents "Holiday Pops!" concert Dec. 7 in Niceville
The sounds of the holiday season will fill the air December 7 as the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO) presents a “Holiday Pops!” concert. The event features the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorus in performance with the symphony, guest soloists and more and will be held at the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center at the Okaloosa-Walton College Niceville campus at 7:30 p.m.

 

Andrew Griffin to perform “Suite Brasilena” in Niceville
Classical guitarist Andrew Griffin will perform the premier of his work, “Suite Brasilena,” Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m., in the Community Life Center at First United Methodist Church of Niceville, 214 S. Partin Drive.

The annual Niceville High School Chorus Holiday Concert "A Season of Song" will be held Monday, December 17 in the main theater of the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center at the Okaloosa-Walton College Niceville campus.

The November 1 performance of Gran Folklorico de Mexico at the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center at Okaloosa-Walton College has been canceled by the folk-dance company, along with 20 other venues nationwide, due to visa and travel issues.

Sept. 28-29 in Bluewater

The Mid-Bay Rotary Club will hold its 13th Annual Oktoberfest September 28-29, at the Winn Dixie Plaza in Bluewater Bay. Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28 and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept 29.
