NICEVILLE, FLORIDA - The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast is inviting families to come to its Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids, an annual event celebrating the value of meaningful time between parents and children. The event will be held Saturday, September 15.

The local event will be held at the Emerald Coast Conference Center on Okaloosa Island from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The entire event is free of charge including lunch from several local restaurants such as Taco Bell, McDonalds, Buffalo’s Reef, Helenback Pizza and several others.

Tentatively scheduled events include the Home Depot’s kid’s project table, Nike Factory Store sports clinic, Indian Temple Mound Museum Hands on History table, Zakari the balloon artist, Imagine Faces face painting, many arts and crafts booths, carnival activities and games.

Organizers say the Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids will provide an opportunity for adults to take a break, celebrate and renew their commitment to their children.
