Be A Light on the Niceville Community Christmas Tree

The Niceville Community Guild has kicked off a giving campaign to raise money for a Niceville Community Christmas and Town Hall Weekend Festival. The fundraiser, called “Be A Light on the Niceville Community Christmas Tree,” will help the group raise money to purchase displays and decorations for the hometown holiday. All donations are tax deductible and every penny raised will be used to provide decorations
and displays for the community’s enjoyment, according to the guild.

Organizers say the goal of the Niceville Community Christmas is to provide a free, public event where residents and guests of the community can come together to share in the beauty of the holiday season. The event will be reminiscent of an old fashioned holiday, complete with strolling carolers, plenty of local entertainment and a mix of homemade and professional displays.

Major display purchases must be made this month, organizers said. If you support the idea of a community Christmas celebration, now is the time to make a contribution.

Individuals can be a light on the Niceville Community Christmas Tree, and help support the first annual event, by making a tax deductible donation in person at the City of Niceville Water Department; or by mail to City of Niceville/Community Christmas, 208 N. Partin Dr., Niceville, 32578. Please make checks payable to the City of Niceville / Community Christmas. For more information, please call 428-9753.
