NICEVILLE, FLORIDA - Terry Tislow, a longtime Niceville City Councilman, has died. He was 71.

Tislow passed away October 12, reportedly from complications related to a broken hip. He served on the Niceville City Council from 1981 until his death.

Tislow retired from the Air Force in 1975 and worked in Civil Service as a systems analyst at the 20^th Space Surveillance Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base until his retirement in1999.

A funeral service will be held Oct. 17, 10:30 a.m. at the Niceville First United Methodist Church.
