Niceville High School Chorus to present, "A Season Of Song," 
December 17

(NICEVILLE, FLORIDA) -  The annual Niceville High School Chorus Holiday Concert "A Season of Song" will be held Monday, December 17 in the main theater of the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center at the Okaloosa-Walton College Niceville campus. The house opens at 7:00 pm for the 7:30 pm concert. Tickets are $15.00 each, general admission (there is no reserved or balcony seating for the concert). Tickets may be purchased by phone or in-person from the OWC box office at 729-6000 as well as online. Tickets are also available for purchase through the NHS chorus boosters, chorus members, at the chorus office at Niceville High School. All concert-goers must have a ticket.

Michael Dye and intern Diere' Morris will conduct the choruses. Leah Brown will be the chorus pianist. The concert is a production of the Niceville High School Choral Music Department and the Niceville Chorus Boosters Association.

The choral program includes: "A Season of Song" that will feature a candlelight procession with chorus and orchestra performing J.S. Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria" and "Domini fili unigenite" for his Gloria, the Hebrew song "Ose Shalom" and will conclude with G.F. Handel's "Hallelujah" for Messiah. Other holiday favorites will include "Snow" from the motion picture White Christmas, a parody of Peter Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, "Home for the Holiday", "Carol of the Bells", "Grown-Up Christmas List", "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", "Silent Night", Roger Miller's immortal ballad "Old Toy Trains" as well as many other holiday standards.
